Supporting Amateur Astronomical Society outreach in the UK

AstroBoost is a hub for outreach resources and support, created and managed by Dr Jenny Shipway.

There are over 200 amateur astronomical societies in the UK. From giving a child their first look through a telescope to running talks and hands-on events, societies have a huge impact on the science communication landscape. Many societies are embedded in communities otherwise under-served by science engagement opportunities.

This website shares outreach resources suitable for use by astronomical societies. AstroBoost also runs projects to provide societies with free outreach resources and training.
